Prek grad

Our precious prek grad with her amazing teacher!! 

Can I tell you how much I love this school. I don't think I could put it into words. If I didn't love it through the year, when I got their end of the year folder, rather notebook, no, binder, I was left floored. Plus, the fact that the teacher took the time to not just put it all together (a booklet if their academic progress, crafts, fun) but to make a CD with hundreds of pictures for every single kid!

Then let's add that seeing those pictures gave me a bigger look into their daily routine and fun. Seriously, we hit the jackpot with this school. They do so much and have so much fun!!!! Lucky Sutton, he goes there in the fall!

Lost teeth

Oh no! I forgot to post exciting news back in March...Brookston finally lost his first tooth, March 22nd! Lost another in April. 

And the third in May!

So proud of this kiddo!

This is a hard earned medal!! It's his reading medal! He got it with a little less than 3 weeks of school left, which was a big deal when we got a little behind and had to play catch up! But he did it. And not just by the end of the year, but with 3 weeks left! He really worked for this! And we are so proud!

Dance dance dance

I'm a few weeks behind now, but Kaisley had a weekend of dance. On Saturday she had her dance recital from the class she takes at school. 

She and her friends did great!

As an added bonus, when the little girls are in prek, about to graduate. They do a special daddy and daughter dance! They had 3 Friday evening practices and I know Kaisley enjoyed every minute of it. The dance was absolutely precious! Really makes a mama tear up!!!

Then on Sunday, daddy and Kaisley had a masquerade ball to attend! Talk about a daddy and daughter weekend!!

4k Mother's Day tea

Once again, the teachers, kids and school went above and beyond to put together an amazing Mother's Day tea for us mommies! The kids worked for many many weeks on their songs, dances, and crafts!

Below is a little peak into the time together. But of course my batterywas about   to die so I didn't get pictures of their last couple dances!

She's bringing me my special breakfast!

The lovely display. I was greeted at the gate with a bouquet of flowers. I was served breakfast. Fruit and yogurt with a cup of granola. And 3 precious bitterly cookies, which of course mommy shared. The great pictures at my place setting. A box with a cross pin inside. A pad of paper made especially by her, with a drawing of us together in the corner. And an entire book full of special art work!!

Kaisley after her school party. She was very excited about the Easter hat her teacher gave her!

Baby's first visit with the bunny!  She was totally cool with the visit. Gave him a couple curious looks, but was totally happy!

I must say, I'm a little impressed that all 4 look decent! I'm marking this bunny visit as a big win!!!

7 months - Ha!

Getting a picture of this little one was tough today!! Most of the time she was squealing, blowing raspberries, flapping her arms or lurching herself forward. She couldn't stay still at all!! :)

This month she gained over a pound and a half, but barely grew in length. Guess those rolls really are getting bigger!! ;) But I'm guessing a big growth spurt is due!

21 pounds even. 27 inches. 

(Apparently the couch tasted good!)

Still going strong for over a year of gymnastics and loving it!

This little guy too! He's quite pleased with his class. Plus loves being in there with a little buddy!

Boats and gators

After living here for about 18 months we finally headed to the ever.glades for an air. boat ride. Kaisley immediately told us she wasn't going, but we hoped she would change her mind when her friend arrived and she was excited to ride. Nope. The boys however were excited and ready! Until walking on the dock, Sutton backed out too. 

So, Daddy, Brookston, Nana and Papa, along with our friends went out. And had a great time!

There was absolutely no hesitation though to hold a little gator!

Rinley and mommy went away for a long weekend ! So Rinley was able to experience her first airplane ride!

Yay for mommy! The above picture was shortly after take off!

And the ride home. This was when we were settling into our seats. She sat like a big girl. Until take off, of course. Then she was no longer solo in that big old seat.
