For this 5K through our neighborhood, we volunteered to be the water station!  :)

Acro parade #1

These 3 participated in their first parade with their acro group!  The younger two had to jump over the moving "present".  Boy did the run and run and run.  And Brookston was on the scaffolding!  Pretty impressive as it moved down the parade route!  I'm pretty sure they had a great time.  And their Louisiana cousins were there to watch them in the audience!

Family 5K

Our first 5K as a family.  We started off walking...but had some running mixed in there.  It was hilly, so we mostly walked the up hill and jogged the flats and downhill.  The kids did great.  I was really impressed.  And at the end, since it was a Pay it forward race, we all got water bottles filled with cash.  Now it's up to us to go out and do something good in the community with that money.  We will have to think about what that will be!  Love the idea behind this 5K!

Harvest feast

Love that Rinley's class does their Thanksgiving feast with pancakes, jello and applesauce instead of a traditional meal!  She loved it!

Weekend in the water

For the long weekend, we surprised the kids at Gre.at Wol.f  Lod.ge.  Boy were they excited when we rounded the corner to the parking lot and saw the sign!

Sutton was tall enough to do every slide except for one.  And he did them all.  Over and over and over again.  He had a blast!  I was so impressed!

Rinley enjoyed her time in the little kid area...a lot!  But she didn't spend her whole time there, she did some pretty big slides too!  The first time she went down, I couldn't believe it!  And she wanted to go again and again!  Each time, I was still in shock!

Kaisley was super lucky and super excited that her friend from 2nd grade was also there!  They had a blast together!  And it was quite nice for mommy and daddy to know she was with a friend and having fun!

Brookston enjoyed his time just as much as everyone else.  Tall enough for everything and with the desire for the thrill...he did it all!  I will say, the one time mommy did the tornado with him (I was backwards), that was enough for me!  And I even like those kind of things!  But, we had a blast!
