4k Mother's Day tea

Once again, the teachers, kids and school went above and beyond to put together an amazing Mother's Day tea for us mommies! The kids worked for many many weeks on their songs, dances, and crafts!

Below is a little peak into the time together. But of course my batterywas about   to die so I didn't get pictures of their last couple dances!

My beautiful fairy in the secret garden.

She's bringing me my special breakfast!

The lovely display. I was greeted at the gate with a bouquet of flowers. I was served breakfast. Fruit and yogurt with a cup of granola. And 3 precious bitterly cookies, which of course mommy shared. The great pictures at my place setting. A box with a cross pin inside. A pad of paper made especially by her, with a drawing of us together in the corner. And an entire book full of special art work!!

Bunny bunny bunny

Bunny at Kaisey's school egg hunt!

Kaisley on the hunt

Sutton with the bunny

Kaisley after her school party. She was very excited about the Easter hat her teacher gave her!

Baby's first visit with the bunny!  She was totally cool with the visit. Gave him a couple curious looks, but was totally happy!

I must say, I'm a little impressed that all 4 look decent! I'm marking this bunny visit as a big win!!!

Sibling times

"Do you want to play with me baby?"

"Let's all sit here and cover ourselves with pillows!"

Rinley's first drive in the car buggy and the grocery store, with big brother!

All 4 watching the iPad. For like 45 seconds.

7 months - Ha!

Getting a picture of this little one was tough today!! Most of the time she was squealing, blowing raspberries, flapping her arms or lurching herself forward. She couldn't stay still at all!! :)

This month she gained over a pound and a half, but barely grew in length. Guess those rolls really are getting bigger!! ;) But I'm guessing a big growth spurt is due!

21 pounds even. 27 inches.

(Apparently the couch tasted good!)

Boats and gators

After living here for about 18 months we finally headed to the ever.glades for an air. boat ride. Kaisley immediately told us she wasn't going, but we hoped she would change her mind when her friend arrived and she was excited to ride. Nope. The boys however were excited and ready! Until walking on the dock, Sutton backed out too.

So, Daddy, Brookston, Nana and Papa, along with our friends went out. And had a great time!

There was absolutely no hesitation though to hold a little gator!

Pool days

First plane ride

Rinley and mommy went away for a long weekend ! So Rinley was able to experience her first airplane ride!

Yay for mommy! The above picture was shortly after take off!

And the ride home. This was when we were settling into our seats. She sat like a big girl. Until take off, of course. Then she was no longer solo in that big old seat.

Half birthday

This cutie pie is a half already! How is that even possible???

She's 19 lbs 7oz and 27 inches

She loves to smile. And will smile so easily. She loves attention, from her siblings, mommy or daddy, or even a stranger. But especially a kid!

She's a screamer!! Mostly a happy scream. A scream that can be ear piercing. But it's filled with joy and makes me laugh!

She can roll, but usually would rather not. She can sit, really well. And these days prefers sitting over laying!

She's a chewer! On toys, on toes, on fingers, but thankfully while eating was short lived!

She started baby food and seems to like it. But we haven't done it enough to really get the whole eating thing down.

She's not a fan of her car seat. But if she's fed and not too tired (or just ready enough for a nap), a drive will go "ok"!

She is a fan of her paci! And her feet!

She sleeps when she wants. Some naps are 20 minutes, some are 3 hours. (And maybe some more would be 3 hours if I didn't have to go pick someone up or take someone somewhere...but that's the life of #4!) And nights are usually routine with a waking somewhere between 12 and 2, but I'm ok with that. And really after that, who knows what to expect.

She's such a happy baby, and still really easy overall. I just can't believe she's 6 months already. It really does make me sad

Food

The plan was to wait until 6 months, but she was ready weeks and weeks ago! She's been grabbing at our food and especially our drinks and always so excited. So, Saturday we let her suck on our apple. And today we went for some actual baby food. Sweet potatoes!

She was quite pleased!

Mommy forgot the mess new eaters make. Silly me didn't have a bib on at first!

Daddy is feeding her here...look at her eyes looking at him. "Oh thank you Daddy, I've been waiting for this!"

Eating is sooooo fun!

But I have to blow a few bubbles, like always!

"Why are you taking so long?"

Happy tummy!
